If there are still people with problems concerning who remembers me, this was my solution to unsubscribe:
I tried everything – letters, threats via ASA and OFCOM. Eventually I started sending Emails. NO abuse! – just email after email, mostly nonsense words and plenty of “Ipsum Loren” finishing with “UNSUBSCRIBE ME NOW” or ” … TODAY!” After about the 20th email to rob@who-remembers-me.com (MD’s private email) he replied. Asking for my phone No. so he can call me! I mean, is this guy dumb, or does he think I am dumb? No thanks was the reply – I’m ex-directory and all I want from him is goodbye. Btw, this is his address:

Hi , I am looking for a dog I saw in a park in Liverpoll UK. It was brown and had a limp and swollen balls. If anybody sees it can they please retrieve my shoe and send it back.
PS it will be quite old now as the incident ocurred in 1952.

Thanks Jez I could not have written your notes better, it’s exactly how I feel having just picked up the same email. I can’t say you saved me money because if I had got that far I would not have signed up. If somebody was looking for me and they had my email….they could write direct!!!! Really fed up with these scams.
